I’ve tried a handful of Pinot Noirs and this one really stepped up. I had been tipped off regarding the quality of the Russian River Valley by Greg a year or two ago. This wine doesn’t disappoint.
Ther reason I got into cycling in the first place was simply because of Lance Armstrong’s return from cancer. Since then, the sport has been tainted to such an extent that I almost gave up hope. If they weren’t riding cleanly, why even watch at all?
That’s why I’m so excited about Team Garmin-Slipstream and their self-imposed and ultra-agressive testing plan. We can be certain that they aren’t doping, and that’s why I’m pulling for them this year at the Tour de France.

This is a great startup looking to change the way people eat fast food. The founder, Ayr Muir, spoke last night at IDEO’s “The Big Reset.” It was a fantastic event and his presentation was great. It was nice seeing someone who cut his teeth in the corporate world and then take a stab at entrepreneurship. He even catered the event!
Check out the Clover Food Lab (food truck) out by MIT. They’re producing healthy, organic and local meals at a great price. Can’t wait to check them out soon.
