Fresh Track: Sigur Ros - Sæglópur

(download)

If you were following the blog yesterday you’d know that I fell in love with a video about multi-touch interaction.  One of the best parts was the ultra-dramatic song that accompanied the mesmerizing video.

Here is the full track from the video for your listening pleasure.  Let me know what you think of it!

If you have some time, check Sigur Ros’ website out sometime.  They have a page where you can download some of their songs, both studio sessions and live tracks.  I just added them to my iTunes and look forward to checking out what this band has to offer.  I mean, who doesn’t like bands from Iceland?

Passion Pit @ Great Scots (5.15.09)

I'm quite late in posting these pictures, but I suppose it's better late than never.

What an amazing show - Passion Pit kicked off their US Tour with a secret show at Great Scot's in Allston.  The Cambridge based band ripped it properly, and being in the front row made it even better.  To say it was the best show I've been to in my life is debatable, but it's absolutely in the conversation.  If you have the opportunity to catch these guys before they blow up, do it.

U2's 360º Tour Opener @ Camp Nou, Barcenloa

U2 bringing some serious thunder with their latest stage set-up. But when does bigger stop being better? I think that outdoor concerts are budget to begin with, but having to sit hundreds of yards from the band is just not worth it to me.

You take U2 from a mile away with 75,000 people, I'll take front row at a Passion Pit show with 100 people any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Also, make sure to check out the website that they've set up for their tour.  Very cool: http://360.u2.com/
