The debate over whether graffiti should be considered art is a fairly inane argument. The fact is, most graffiti isn't viewed as art by the average passer-by. Instead, it is often just an artist's tag or a crude picture. Even worse, in many urban areas graffiti is more gang-inspired than art-inspired.
