The Impossible Project - getting "Polariod" type film back in production

I would never claim to be a Polaroid user, but anyone over the age of 25 probably remembers snapping a few photos with this magic paper that transformed before your eyes. I can vividly remember my father having one in his car from time to time, generally used only for work. But every now and again my brothers and I got our hands on it and ran amok. We didn't care much about the pictures, but to watch the film turn from black to a "full color" image was outstanding.

I sure hope these guys get the film back in production. I once read about a famous Hollywood-type that made everyone that came into his house be photographed with a Polaroid camera. Just one quick snapshot so that their presence could be documented. I've always thought that this idea was an awesome way to document ones life. After all, the people that we invite into our home are our closes friends and family members.

Cheers to these ambitious guys for having the moxy to undertake such an endeavor. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed...
